Inks of "Love Letter"

Here are a couple of pages I inked over pencils by Renae De Liz, who's work I love; characters so dynamic and expressive. I was in an inking mood and she was short on time, so I agreed to ink it. These also happen to be her first sequentials ever, and darn good sequentials they be.

They were inked in Photoshop 7 with a Wacom tablet as part of a project for PandamoniumComix.com

Check 'em out and let us know what you think!

Thanks for stoppin' by!

I really like Nae's work and now seeing her sequentials...I'm even more impressed! I'd really like to work with her on something. This scene here makes me think she'd be great for this slice-of-life romance type thing I've slowly been working on in the background.

Duh! And of course the inks are sweet. Very slick and clean...perfect over Nae's pencils.

Why, thankya, sir. ;o)

Nae really does deserve the praise on these, though. I'm sure she'd love to work with you on something, too. She mentioned she'd like to do something for DWP.

I've got to say these a great. I've been waiting a year to see seqs from Renae ... sneaky one she is. I remember her first art post was Sonic fan art, making us think she was all cutesy and under-talented, instead of uber-talented.

How come I'm not on your blogroll. lol. No love for host/writer/cartoon hacks, huh?

mark - Yep. I pencil, ink, color, letter, write, paint, design, and whatever else they'll let me. ;o)

ron - Yep, she's uber-talented, for sure. I knew that as soon as I saw her Sonic fan art, actually. Just waited for it to emerge.

And I will add your blog. Hadn't seen that one. My bizzle, dizzle. ;o)
