Last Unicorn #2 - Interior page previews!

That last one in particular, with the close up of the harpy... ! MAN! I love my wife! She can draw anything and make it look incredible! Beautiful things, scary monsters, whatever. It's a dream every time I get to work with her.

THE LAST UNICORN Hardcover Collected Edition!
| Pencils by my wife Renae De Liz. Inks and Colors by ME! Published by IDW Publishing. Based on the novel by Peter S. Beagle. This book is really special to us. It was my wife's favorite movie as a little girl and inspired her in huge ways. We got the opportunity to work on this book right around the time we got married, found out we were having a baby, and wrapped it up shortly after our son was born. Renae was working on it all through the pregnancy. We even moved from Kansas to Maine while working on it. It was an epic adventure in our art and in our real lives. |

This opulent tale will take readers from ancient Babylon to modern day New York City, from the madness of fanaticism to the peace of faith. Once again Anne Rice fans will be able to enjoy her talent in delivering melancholic and psychologically charged moods through this newly adapted version of one of her most recognized works.
In Servant of the Bones, Azriel is an immortal spirit who is bound to the gold-encased bones of his mortal body. Throughout the story, he struggles to understand whether he is a ghost, genie, demon or angel. He shares his story with the reader as he travels from an ancient Babylon of royal plots and religious upheavals to Europe during the Black Death and on to the modern world in New York City. Amidst the towers of Manhattan, he finds himself in confrontation with his own human memories and the dark forces that have sought to condemn him to a life of evil and destruction.
