#Inktober Day 8 "Frail" and also "Dog?" since I used a randomly selected dough cutter for the starting shape. I realized while working on this I was desperately trying to make the pen work as well as @gr_comics does! - Odd faces are definitely the most fun for me, but I'm trying to mix it up too for the experience of pushing my creativity further. #Inktober Day 6 "Husky" and also "Bat" since I got the starting shape prompt from randomly selecting a dough cutter. Also, I wore "Husky" size pants as a kid and was embarrassed but also tried to spin it into something cool. Husky, like the awesome dog I always wanted. Also, also, I once found a husky dog in the woods in Kansas, brought him home and named him "Turtle" but then the owners came and got him. :( he was my magical woods dog. #Inktober Day 1.5! "Shooting Star?" Sitting in front of a box of 100 dough cutters we got our kids this idea came to me: Blindly grab one out each day and turn whatever shape it is into something. Came up with a new character on the fly called THE BALD EAGLE while drawing a cover for my villain THE ABNORMALITY. So his first appearance is being mutated to mush in the corner of a cover. Ha! He's developed into a full blown, pretty weird, sad character already though. Bug brain painting. I had been smushing paint around the last few days to keep my 4yo son, Porter, entertained during his baby sisters nap, and a goofy, ogre-y face came out. However when he wasn't looking I added nightmare fuel to it with the bug in his brain. Now I probably shouldn't show him again for a few years.
