Did a rough ink doodle of #Creed by @trent_kaniuga_arts from memory (likely inaccurate detail) from a book I haven't really seen in like 20 years, but was a big inspiration to me back then. I could have looked up a reference but i kinda wanted to see how it would come out naturally. You should all go follow Trent who now works in video games primarily. Haha! This is a little comic strip i drew way back in 2005 back when I was young and single and just drew or wrote whenever I wanted to. Even a silly daily blog with a silly little comic to go with the theme of the post. I had been approaching children's book publishers and they were all super confused that I would want to draw the illustrations in my own book. Not as much an issue these days but back then even Marvel and DC thought the idea of a writer also being an artist was unimaginable. Anyway, it gave me a little chuckle. Or chortle. Started drawing some I dunno hieroglyphic/Mandela lookin' stuff with my 4yo #PorterDillon today. Not sure where that came from or where it's going but it's surprisingly fun and calming. They really dont like blank space in those styles. Ha.
